Oppositely charged from our nylon friction rod set, you can create static electricity using this set of 2 ebonite friction rods and fur. This set is useful for charging electroscopes. When the friction rod is rubbed against the fur, the ebonite rod becomes positively charged and the fur becomes negatively charged. The ebonite rod loses its electrons (rod becomes positively charged) to the fur and the fur gains electrons (becomes negatively charged). Set contains 2 friction rods and 1 fur square.
