Build a miniature electric motor using this smart little kit. This kit contains all necessary parts to build the motor pictured (even a handy little wrench). It conveniently sets up on the plastic storage case, and can be assembled in minutes. This device demonstrates the basic principals of electric motor operation. Through the process of assembly, the builder becomes familiar with the mechanisms of simple electric motors. Case colors will vary.

    OK for the money

    The kit is ok. The finished product is very finicky. The bearings for the armature must be aligned just right so that they don't bind. The brushes are very tricky to line up so that attraction and repulsion happen at just the right time.

    A little fiddly - two sets of directions meant devoting real school time to this project. We are still working on it, and my fingers are crossed for satisfying results.
