This handy holder makes series connections of 1.5V D Cell batteries a breeze. Color coded positive and negative 4mm binding posts allow for quick wire connections and simple voltage selection (1.5 - 6 Volts).
This is a very nice battery holder allowing selection of various voltages without wiring changes. However Duracell type D batteries are such a tight fit in this holder it renders the cathode compression spring ineffective in pressing the battery to the anode -- this must be done manually.
