The Miniature Hornet DC powered portable Van De Graaff electrostatic generator is deisgned for demonstrating and perfoming similar experiments to our larger Van De Graaff for a fraction of the price. This is great for tabletop experiements due to its compact and portable size.  

This miniature Van De Graaff generator stands at about 12" tall with a 4.5" stainless steel collector sphere. It's powered by an internal 6 volt DC motor that can generate up to about 75,000 volts. When performing experiments, you will see arcs up to 2-3" in size. The clear insulator tube also has a light so the process can be seen in the dark. This generator comes complete with a discharge wand, a spare belt and an AC adapter.
