Description
The SS3134 pith ball electroscope consists of an insulated brass pillar and hook on a base. It is supplied with two colored pith balls (strings attached). The pith balls become excited when brought into proximity of opposite charges.

    Easier to set up and demonstrate than normal flask electroscopes. Very light, very compact and works very well. I even made several sets of strings with various material standing in for the pith balls to test those different materials. All in all a great learning tool!

    Larger than most pith balls I've seen online for sale, plus a good solid stand.
